The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has appointed Chartered Financial Planners Kamahl Best and Lucia Rippa to its PFS POWER Panel, strengthening the panel’s expertise across client-centred financial planning, vulnerable customer support, and professional development.
The appointments add further practitioner insight to PFS POWER, the initiative designed to help financial planners improve client outcomes through shared experience, technical learning, training webinars and life-centred planning frameworks.
Kamahl Best, a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the PFS based in Manchester, brings a strong focus on the role financial planning plays in helping clients achieve greater clarity, confidence and peace of mind around their finances. Having become a Chartered Fellow of the PFS at 26, Kamahl is working towards further STEP and CFA qualifications to deepen his technical expertise, particularly in supporting more complex client cases.
He was named one of Citywire’s Next Gen Adviser Top 35 Under 35 Financial Planners in 2025 and was shortlisted in 2026 for Money Marketing’s Young Financial Planner of the Year for the North East, North West, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Lucia Rippa, Chartered Financial Planner and Director at Evelyn Partners in Bristol, brings specialist experience in supporting vulnerable clients, particularly within personal injury and Court of Protection work. As a member of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association, Lucia works closely with solicitors, accountants and other professional advisers to support clients with complex needs, with a focus on empathy, accessibility and personalised financial planning.
She also has an interest in developing the next generation of financial planners, offering mentoring to junior colleagues and supporting their development of technical and client relationship skills.

I’m looking forward to being able to bring my experiences together to do what I can bring insights and content to members of the PFS to hopefully improve their client experiences and journeys and help support planners create better relationships with their clients and better outcomes for their clients.
